COVID-19 and Shipping Delays
You know it, we know it - COVID-19 has impacted nearly every industry and this includes the shipping industry.
Coupled with short staffing, our shipping partners have seen huge, holiday-like spikes in volume. For context, online sales across all e-commerce industries for May 2020 were more than $82 billion. This is an almost 80% increase over May 2019. Simply put, our shipping partners have been dramatically affected by COVID-19.
If your package is late...
Tracking info may not update, but usually, with a little extra time and patience, we've found that packages that are running behind have arrived within a week or two. If you have not seen your package up to two weeks after your expected delivery date, we recommend reaching out to the carrier (USPS, UPS, or FedEx), or contact us for additional help.
Standard Shipping Methods
Knives: We ship standard via FedEx Express Saver, but other methods are available upon request. Our rate for one knife is $17.50 for all orders placed within the US. International customers, please view Estimates for International Return Shipping.
Web Store Items: The standard method of shipping is non-insured through USPS First Class unless otherwise specified.
Merchandise purchased directly from Chris Reeve Knives may be accepted for exchange on a case by case basis. Items must be in the original condition with no damage to the original packaging. Eligible exchange items must be back to our storefront within 14 days of the date received. Items purchased from an Authorized Dealer must be returned following that specific dealer's policies.
