A Note from the Owner on Blade Show 2020

6/23/20 "In our wildest dreams, none of us could have imagined the concerns, confusion and uncertainty that has come in the past four or five months. In the overall, Chris Reeve Knives has weathered COVID-19 well, and we are grateful that our staff has remained healthy and our facility had to close for only a few weeks.

Of the many important decisions we have had to make during this time, the one that might have been the hardest is whether to attend Blade Show or not. We have taken advice, discussed at length, weighed pros and cons and studied statistics but have finally decided our best course of action is to press the skip button for 2020. We love Blade Show - the organizers, the exhibitors and the customers – and are extremely sad to miss it all this year. We felt we needed to make the decision now to give adequate notice to everyone and to help manage our production planning.

Although Idaho has experienced considerably fewer cases than other parts of the country, the number of confirmations has spiked recently as more and more venues have opened again. This seems to be happening in several parts of the country and we feel that by traveling and interacting with large groups, we would only perpetuate the trend. Our decision comes not out of fear but from respect for our fellow Americans.

We appreciate your understanding and continued loyalty!"

5/11/20 All production and maintenance services have resumed.

5/1/20  On May 1st, we entered Stage 1 of Idaho Rebounds, which means we are able resume regular production.  However, we are not fully staffed, especially in Warranty and Customer Service and will continue to communicate by email only. Thank you for your patience and support, and we hope you are safe and healthy.

A Note from the Owner on COVID-19

4/20/20 On April 15, Idaho’s Stay-Home Order was relaxed slightly, allowing some non-essential companies to resume business in a limited fashion. Although we are still closed to the public, we can ship/mail product. Abiding by social distancing requirements, we have a skeleton volunteer staff working on production and during the coming couple of weeks will begin shipping small quantities of knives.  We are also able to reopen our web store.

Our Customer Service Team is still working from home as best they can so feel free to email and they will respond as they are able.

The next update from our Governor is expected May 1 at which time we will learn more about when we might be able to resume business as usual.

Thank you for your patience during this challenging new period and the entire CRK Team joins me in extending best and healthy wishes.

3/26/20 Sorry, we have to stay at home.  In compliance with Idaho's Statewide Stay-Home Order, our facility is currently closed for 21 days.  In-town sharpening services, web-order fulfillment, and spa service-tickets are suspended until we return. We will continue answer any incoming customer-service questions as promptly as possible by email
